two mommies, two experiences

2 months ago I started this blog, E keeps a journal, we both want to record every moment of this experience which while similar is also quite different. E, ofcourse, gets to endure the pricking, prodding and the pain. After her vaginal ultrasound, I posted on this blog that she was slightly crampy after the procedure but otherwise it was painless. E in her journal wrote "ouch" and "more ouch" of the ultrasound and the blood draw. I have been in the doctors office for every one of those pricks and prods ofcourse, but usually just stand there awkwardly, not quite sure what do with my hands especially, just giving her quiet reassurance.
