I decided to set up an account on the donor sibling registry. Initially I was not going to pay the membership fee since as I pointed we are just starting out, barely started. Well, that was until I read https://www.donorsiblingregistry.com/The%20Truth%20About%20Donor%201084.pdf and realized that I could use the site to help us find out more about our potential donors spawn... its reassuring to see them talk about their healthy children, 3 , 5 years after they are born. So I subscribed, I'm already dipping into the $perm account.
I wonder about anonymity though, I have seen posts by donors and recipients requesting contact and some of these donors are not id consent donors as per the cryobank. E and I went the cryobank way because we wanted anonymity but now I am now beginning to realize with the internet etc that will not be a possibility.
