Mr/Ms president

Logo and HRC hosted the first ever presidential debate on LGBT issues. It actually wasn't so much a debate as a discussion, the candidates were interviewed separately in the order that they had responded to the invitation, all republicans turned down the invitation. In order of their appearance here were the views on gay marriage and the two mommies grade.

  • Barrack Obama -- Civil unions with full benefits of marriage B
What is it with this word marriage? This smacks of separate but equal
  • John Edwards -- Still not quite there yet, Civil unions stripped of marriage benefits? what the fX*& D
  • Dennis Kucinich--all for gay marriage!!!!!! too bad he wont even come close to a win A+
  • Mike Gravel -- for gay marriage as Kucinich but again wont come close to a win A+
  • Bill Richardson--inbetween the mumbling supposedly for civil unions with full benefits of marriage but once voted for the defense of marriage act D
  • Hillary Clinton--supports civil unions with full benefits of marriage but believes states should decide on these civil unions but federal rights given to married couples should still be afforded to gay couples. What? This from my top choice? C

What is this, I gave Barack a better grade than Hillary? Yes, yes--this debate changed my view of Barack immensely. Hillary you disappoint me, Barack I want to give another look.
