mommy, mom and baby makes a family

We met with our lawyer today, took about an hour. We have a better understanding of the process of second parent adoptions. If I could have it my way my name would be on the babys birth certificate from the moment he/she is born, but that wont be, it could be 3 to 9 months, maybe even more. Until then, we will have the child abuse and criminal backgrounds clearances done and then file an adoption petition after the baby is born.
